Reminder for Class of 2023 Seniors and Parents. Jostens will be here on November 16th in the Tiger Cafe at 10:30 a.m. to take cap and gown orders for graduation. Please remember to have your Jostens orders with you on Wednesday.

I would like to update the community that our roof work has been completed on the middle and high school buildings. There was also an air quality test given at the high school from the DOH and our Educational Service District. The results were reported as follows:
"Sample data and analysis of particulate/ambient respirable irritants do not indicate a casual factor for the family of concern. Mold types found within the school are natural to the outdoor environment, with a reduction in irritant quantities by the building air handlers. Physical inspection and interpretation of the sample data suggests Republic High School to be safe for instruction and regular physical activities."
This is great news and thanks to our legislators, we are still on schedule for middle/high school HVAC and plumbing upgrades heading into next summer.

On Mrs. Starr's 2nd Grade outdoor adventure, the class discovered a small mouse was living under the snow providing a perfect hands on lesson of how some small rodents survive the cold winter months.

NO SCHOOL

Despite chilly morning temperatures, Mrs. Campbell's class enjoyed the warm afternoon sun as they walked the hiking trails around Curlew State Park followed by roasting marshmallows by the fire.

We are in desperate need of volunteers for the JH basketball games this weekend. If you would be willing to run a clock for a game or help out in other volunteer positions, please contact Dena at the JH/HS office. Thank you in advance.
