Republic School District would like to remind families that students with life-threatening allergies or medical conditions must have a current Emergency Care Plan (ECP) on file with the district before they may begin attending school or participating in athletic practices.
Emergency Care Plans must be submitted to Nurse Bauer prior to:
• The student's first day of school attendance
• The student's first athletic practice in August
Examples of conditions that may require an Emergency Care Plan include:
• Severe allergies requiring an EpiPen
• Diabetes
• Seizure disorders
• Asthma requiring emergency intervention
• Other life-threatening medical conditions
Student safety is our highest priority. State law and district procedures require that appropriate medical documentation and emergency plans be in place before students with life-threatening conditions can attend school or participate in extracurricular activities.
Students who do not have a completed Emergency Care Plan on file may experience delays in starting school or athletic participation until all required documentation has been received and reviewed.
If you have questions or need assistance, please contact:
• Nurse Bauer
• Your student's head coach
• Mr. Finley, K-12 Principal
Thank you for helping us ensure a safe and successful start to the school year.
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing families, staff, and community for helping make this school year such a success.
We had a wonderful morning filled with games, laughter, and special moments as we said goodbye until next school year.
A special thank you to Tina Gregory for organizing yet another outstanding Field Day! Your hard work and dedication helped create a fun and memorable experience for our students.
Have a safe, happy, and relaxing summer!

Please stop by the elementary building and check out the lost-and-found tables located outside. The tables will be available today and tomorrow, so take a moment to see if any of these items belong to your family.
Thank you for helping us reunite these lost items with their homes! 😊

The last day of school for all students in Republic is Thursday 6/11 with early release at 11:15. Lunch will not be served as a result. We wish you all a wonderful summer break and look forward to seeing you again in the fall!
Next, the class traveled forward in time to learn about local pioneer history with a visit to the Kaufman Cabin and the Slagle House. Students toured these historic structures and discovered how early families in Republic lived and contributed to shaping our community.
The ROAR program would like to thank Andy Brockett and Travis Wellman from Stonerose, as well as Debbie Almquist and the volunteers from the Ferry County Historical Society.

The ROAR program recently spent two days at Curlew Lake State Park learning essential water safety skills. With the assistance of the Washington State Safe Boating Program, students from Republic focused on staying safe around Washington State waterways and learned effective kayaking techniques. Instructors took time on the shore to review how to safely enter and exit a kayak, correct paddling techniques, and ensured students were properly fitted with life jackets.
A huge thank you goes out to Ranger Joseph Giampietri, Alyssa Smith, and Theresa Wood from Washington State Parks, as well as Kacie Hurtado from Spokane County Parks and Recreation, for making the trip to Curlew Lake to teach these valuable life skills to the students of Republic.
