Parents,
As we wrap up the school year, we want to remind families of students in all grades, but especially 6–12 to have conversations with their children about returning all school-issued items. This includes textbooks, library books, Chromebook devices and chargers, locks, uniforms, and any other materials or equipment that belong to the school district. It's not too late to turn in missing items.
Please note:
Any item that is not returned, or is turned in damaged, broken, or destroyed, will be added to the student’s fine list. These fines must be resolved before the start of the next school year.
Encouraging your student to gather and check the condition of their school items now can help avoid any surprises or unnecessary charges later.
Thank you for your attention and continued support as we work together to close out the year successfully!

Just a reminder that tonight at 6 pm is the Spring Sports Awards for High School Track & Field, Baseball and Softball. See you all at the Elem Cafeteria tonight at 6 pm!

After completing their unit on Washington State geology, Mr. Avila’s 4th grade class took a field trip to the Dry Falls Interpretive Center. There, Ranger David McWalter guided students through an exploration of the dramatic geologic history of the region. The class learned about the cataclysmic Missoula Floods and how these powerful events helped shape the channeled scablands of eastern Washington.

The months of May and June were full of hands-on learning for Republic Elementary students and the ROAR program. In early May, Mrs. Starr and Miss Bushnell’s class visited Katy Thornton’s Kait’s Crates orchard. There, students explored the life cycle of apple and pear trees and learned how fruit travels from orchard to grocery store. The visit offered a firsthand look at local agriculture and helped students connect what they eat to where it comes from.
