Congratulations to the Republic Archery Club for their outstanding performance at the Washington State Archery in the School Tournament in Kennewick. The tournament drew hundreds of students from across the state, and each of our archers performed at their very best. We're extremely proud of how they represented our school and community. A special congratulations goes to Trey Cromwell, who qualified for the National Archery Tournament in Salt Lake City. This marks the second year in a row that Trey has qualified, and he will be competing in the tournament in April.

Last week, Mrs. Campbell's 1st-grade class went on an exciting ROAR adventure in Republic. The students had the opportunity to visit three different places. First, they went to the United States Postal Service to learn about how the mail is sorted and delivered to their houses. After that, they were taken on a tour of the Republic Volunteer Fire Department Firehall. There, they learned about kitchen safety and what to do in case of a fire. Lastly, the students were informed about procedures for X-rays, blood drawing, and emergency room visits at Ferry County Memorial Hospital. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a great adventure for the students of Republic Elementary.

Miss King's kindergarten class had a wonderful time walking around the streets of Republic, visiting several local businesses on a field trip. The students were given behind-the-scenes tours of Anderson's Grocery and an introduction to the Republic Library, while also learning about restaurant etiquette at 18 North. We want to thank all the businesses participating in today's field trip.
